KRI Pasopati submarine is a submarine type Wishkey Class SS manifold. KRI Pasopati submarines made in 1952 and began to be used in Indonesia on December 15, 1952.
With diesel propulsion, submarines KRI Pasopati can take up to a maximum speed of 18.3 knots (about 34 km / h). If on the surface, the submarine uses diesel propulsion. Whereas if you're diving, ship propulsion batteries are used.
The submarine is equipped with 4 pieces of torpedo launchers in front and 2 behind the torpedo launchers. The ship was carrying 12 pieces of torpedo with a length of 7 meters. The ship is also capable of megangkut 63 crew members including the officers.
In addition, the ship is capable of diving to a depth of 250 meters below sea level. While the normal depth is 170 meters. Of course with this ability, making Indonesia the sea power is so strong at that time.
KRI Pasopati first served in Operation Alugoro to Irian Jaya on July 28, 1962. Alugoro operation was part of Operation Trikora to return the territory of West Irian to the Homeland. KRI Pasopati Indonesia along with five other submarines that Widjayadanu KRI, KRI Hendradjala, Bramasta KRI, KRI KRI Alugoro Tjudamani and assigned to sink warships and merchant enemies along the north coast of New Guinea, especially the Dutch warship.
Other operations are the operations in East Timor, the Straits of Malacca, South China Sea and Indian Ocean. KRI Pasopati often been at the forefront when conflicts occur. On January 25, 1990, KRI Pasopati stop serving in the Navy.

• The bow torpedo room

Here there are 4 torpedo launchers. In this room there is also a reserve torpedo. You can also see some of the bunk bed is a place of rest of the crew (ABK).

• Living room officer

Here there is a living room or lounge room to the dining room as well as officers and officers working place. You can also find here the command room. Below deck, you can also find the battery storage space Group 1 here.

• Periscope space

In this room is central to the operation of the submarine as well as Combat Information Center (PIT). You can find a periscope that could see up to a height of 9 meters. In addition, this room is also used as a communications center. There is also a toilet to relieve the crew.

• ABK space

In this room there is room for a crew consisting of NCO or enlisted. In this room Crew to rest or relax. There is also a bed, kitchen, dining, and food storage warehouses. Under the deck there is a Group 2 storage battery of 210 cells.

• Diesel Space Booster

In this room there is a diesel engine as the main driver while on the surface.

• Electric space

This section is room for an electric motor. If the submarine is diving then used the generated electric power batteries. In this room there are 2 pieces of electric motors to drive propellers or charging batteries. This electric motor can double, ie when the surface, then the diesel will drive the electric motor to charge the batteries. Whereas if you are under the surface, this electric motor drives the propeller to move the submarine. This is what makes these subs can move silently.

• Stern Torpedo Room
